About Litchfield County
With 185,186 residents at the 2020 Census, Litchfield County is the state's most rural county. Commercial and industrial property is concentrated in Torrington, the county's largest city, and along Route 8 through Thomaston, Watertown and Winsted, with retail and industrial property along US 7 in New Milford.
